‘The First Berserker: Khazan’ is a fantasy action-roleplaying game that revolves around the banished General Khazan, who has been framed for treason. Upon escaping, he embarks on a quest of revenge against those who wronged him.

The player controls the protagonist from a third-person perspective to traverse various locations. Employing melee weapons and special abilities, the player will fight fantastical creatures, humans and humanoid enemies in fast-paced combat. Progress through the narrative typically requires defeating an area’s boss.
Melee combat is intense, highlighted by large blood sprays that stain surrounding surfaces. Defeated enemies and bloodstains typically disintegrate from the scene in the aftermath. The player will also encounter environments that are bloodied and littered with piles of corpses. Overall, the depictions of violence can be accommodated under the ADV16 guidelines, which allow “realistic but not excessively graphic violence with depiction of blood.”
The dialogue contains use of the expletive “f**k”, and crude words such as “asshole”, “bastard”, “bitch” and “shit”.
